Making Scenes for Player? More hints for the Game...
I guess I didn't realize that I could make individual scenes and drag them into other scenes. Just learned this yesterday. This is great for efficiency. I don't have to change every single player in every single scene, I just have one player to change making things much easier. I guess I should have realized this much earlier. In all the tutorials I've been watching to learn, they never had a separate player scene. This made it easier for me to update the player's inventory and journal. Which is more hints for my game ;) I really cannot wait to release something. It will be extremely bare-bones when the first version comes out. It will likely have very little content, but I also don't want to fully release my idea until I can show people something... You will log things in a journal! And keep items in a sachel.. I might change that because I am not sure if an inventory is really necessary yet. There aren't items to pick up or crafting in my original idea, but this could always change, so I don't want to throw away that idea altogether.
